Career Highlights
Max is a 35-year veteran professional pool player with nearly 1,000 tournament wins and victories over 21 sanctioned World Champions.
He is the only player in history to hold the BCA Junior National Championship (1991), ACU-I National Collegiate Championship (1993, 1994), and a Major Pro Championship (the 2013 Derby City Classic 14.1 Bigfoot Challenge, defeating three World Champions in a row to win the title, Alex Pagulayan, Niels Feijen, and Dennis Orcullo). Max is a two time World 14.1 Bronze Medalist and 5-Time West Coast 9-Ball Champion.
He was ranked top 5 in the world for 2 straight years, competed on ESPN and played in 33 countries. Max is currently ranked #10 in the USA Mosconi Cup race in 2026, a signed WNT pro, and a BCA top-20 USA player.
Among his thousands of satisfied students across the Earth, Max has personally taught Joe Rogan and Jeff Bezos, and worked with Michael Jordan as the stunt "pool shark" in MJ's Hanes commercial plus extensive work in Hollywood on multiple productions as the billiards expert/performer.
